Potato and Carrot Paratha

  • 3 tablespoons whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 1 ½ tablespoons carrots, boiled and mashed
  • A pinch of coriander powder
  • A pinch of cumin powder
  • A pinch of dried mango powder
  • 1 teaspoon ghee

    Mix wheat flour in a bowl. Slowly add water while knead the flour until it turns into soft dough.

    In a bowl, make the stuffing by mixing potato, carrot, cumin powder, coriander powder and dried mango powder.

    Divide both the dough and stuffing into two equal portions.

    Roll out the dough into thick chapatti layers and stuff each of them with a portion of the studding. Seal the edges and roll into thin paratha.

    On a heated non-stick tawa, place the paratha on one side for a few seconds then add half a teaspoon of ghee before it turns brown. Do the same for the other side.

    Serve at room temperature.
