Semolina made from durum wheat gives your baby the energy he/she needs to play, explore and discover the world around him/her as the body breaks it down slowly. Plus, adding a pinch of asafoetida helps relieve bloatedness so your child will be ready for naptime.

- 2 teaspoons ghee
- A pinch of asafoetida
- ½ small onion, finely chopped
- ½ small tomato, finely chopped
- ¼ cup roasted semolina
- A pinch of cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon green peas, boiled and mashed
- Sugar to taste
- 1 cup of hot water
Heat the ghee in a non-stick pan, add the asafoetida, onion and tomato and cook on medium heat for 5-6 minutes.
Add semolina, mashed peas, cumin powder, sugar and hot water and mix well.
Cover and cook for 5-6 minutes.
Serve at room temperature.
